Work Experience
Marie Eason Klatt is an Occupational Therapist and Certified Hand Therapist with over 35 years of clinical experience. Her clinical practice primarily focuses on the rehabilitation of individuals of all ages who have functional impairments of the hand and upper limb. She is currently employed as the Manager of Collaborative Practice and Education at St. Joseph’s Health Centre, Unity Health in Toronto, Canada.

Professional Activities
Marie holds status appointments with the Dalla Lana School of Public Health and the Department of Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy at the University of Toronto, as a lecturer. She has extensive healthcare regulatory experience at the provincial level in Canada Marie was an elected, professional member of the Council of the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario for 9 years and chaired various committees over that time including one term as President. In addition, she was a member of the Re-certification Committee of the Hand Therapy Certification Commission for 12 years.
Marie served as the Canadian Delegate for IFSHT for 10 years and recently completed a three-year term as the IFSHT By-laws Committee Chair. Marie served as President of the Canadian Society of Hand Therapists from 2017 – 2021.

Publications and Presentations
Marie has presented both nationally and internationally at peer reviewed conferences in the areas of health practitioner education and hand /upper limb rehabilitation.
