The Hellenic Scientific Association of Physiotherapy (HSAP) is proud to present you the certification programme in Hand Therapy for Greece. HSAP is the only body in Greece that can provide this certification. We represent Greece in the European Federation of Societies of Hand Therapy (EFSHT) and International Federation of Societies of Hand Therapy (IFSHT).
In order to obtain the certification, three different steps need to be completed which can be carried out simultaneously.
1. Theoretical part: Completion of 500 teaching hours is required, which are covered by the two-year teaching programme.
2. Practical component: Completion of 500 hours of practical application in the field of upper extremity/hand therapy rehabilitation is required.
3. Presentation of work: Initially, a supervisor is appointed by the hand section. In collaboration with the supervisee, a topic is chosen for the elaboration of a thesis with a topic from the upper end that is in the interests of the therapist.
