The CAS Hand Therapy program is open to occupational and physical therapists with some experience in Hand Therapy that wish to further develop their expertise in the speciality practice area of Hand Therapy. The program is taught in German and English and consists of three modules and self-study assignments. In total there are 23 days of on site instruction that takes place within a one-year period. The international faculty team includes 21 instructors from Switzerland, Canada, Germany and Sweden. Students in the program spend twice as much time in self-study activities and projects as they do in the classroom. An E-learning platform supports participant interaction and provides learning resources. Upon successful completion of the program, students are awarded a certificate of advanced studies in Hand Therapy and 15 European Credit Transfer System points, that may be applied towards a master’s degree.
