IFSHT Register of Hand Therapy Educators - Application Form

Hand Therapists interested and willing to be listed as Educators on a Register held by IFSHT are invited to complete this application form.
 
The names and contact information of people listed in the registry will not be visible to the public.  This information will ONLY be  used by IFSHT to help connect potential speakers listed in this registry with therapists who have contacted IFSHT asking for assistance in locating hand therapy speakers. 
 
IFSHT does not specifically endorse any of the Hand Therapy Educators in the Registry.  All applications will be reviewed by the IFSHT Education Committee and all applicants will be informed of their inclusion or exclusion in the registry.  If the application is declined, the reasons for exclusion will be identified.
 
All educators listed in the registry will be required to update their information annually.

Recommendation AND Endorsement

All applicants MUST include the name of a hand therapy or hand surgery colleague, or employer who is in a position to recommend them.  The applicant must fully inform this person the conditions of the recommendation which include verifying:

  • The applicant is an experienced educator in hand therapy.
  • That all information contained in the application and brief resume is complete and accurate. 

In addition, if the applicant is from an IFSHT or IFSSH member country, the applicant MUST ALSO include the name and contact information of a current executive committee member from their Hand Therapy Society or Hand Surgery Society who is willing to endorse the application. (See below for further details for the conditions of endorsement)

Endorsement from an executive committee member from an IFSHT or IFSSH society is intended ONLY as a way for IFSHT to verify that the applicant is a member of the society or that they are a hand therapist working in the member organziations country.
 
Endorsement of the application by the IFSHT or IFSSH society DOES NOT imply any responsiblity of the member society for the quality or integrity of educational activities of the applicant.
