American Association for Hand Surgery

 
The American Association for Hand Surgery is an inclusive organization of hand surgeons and hand therapists which fosters and promotes the highest quality of hand care through development and sponsorship of educational programs related to the hand and upper extremity. The Association’s primary responsibility is education with emphasis on clinical and technical aspects of hand care. The AAHS membership of over 1000 represents a diverse, cohesive mixture of highly respected professionals, including hand therapists, nurses, basic scientists, orthopaedic, plastic, micro and general surgeons.

AAHS membership includes a subscription to HAND, the Association’s journal; access to the AAHS Members Only website area; a subscription to Hand Surgery Quarterly, the Association’s newsletter; access to AAHS research grant funds and international missionary awards; opportunities to present work at AAHS Annual Meetings; reduced registration rates for AAHS educational programs; opportunities to serve on AAHS Committees and the Board of Directors.  Please visit the AAHS website for additional information:  http://handsurgery.org
