Judy Colditz
Judy is a licensed occupational therapist, certified hand therapist, and a Fellow in the American Occupational Therapy Association with more than 35 years of experience in hand therapy. She has written numerous articles, chapters, and papers on hand splinting and therapy and currently teaches courses and develops hand therapy educational and clinical materials through HandLab (www.handlab.com). Her broad-based knowledge in the specialty of hand therapy has led her to share clinical knowledge all over the world. She has taught in 25 countries in addition to North America and is an honorary member of the hand therapy society in Venezuela, Argentina, New Zealand and France.
Judy has been a three-time recipient of the best clinical paper award at the American Society of Hand Therapists Annual Meeting and has served as President of the American Society of Hand Therapists and Treasurer and President of the IFSHT. She has also been recognized as the Honored Senior Professor at the Surgery and Rehabilitation of the Hand meeting in Philadelphia in 2001 and as the Nathalie Barr Lecturer at American Society of Hand Therapists annual meeting in 1999. She loves to travel and teach and continues to develop new educational opportunities and teaching materials for hand therapists.
